About: In 2010, Rose-chan travels through time and place to the Palace of Versailles (pronounced ‘Vair-sigh’) in France. A legacy of the splendid 17th century, the Palace is characterised by its lavish use of gold and till today numbers among the most magnificent regal residences in the world. Rose-chan de Versailles is dressed in period costume comprising a rose-pink full-length gown with a deep pink bow and ruffled collar. She flutters a decorative fan in her hand in a gesture that’s part demure, part coquettish. This doll was not available for sale but redeemable with every S$300 purchase at Takashimaya Department Store in Singapore in 2010.
